Questions People Actually Ask

Straight answers about how this practice works, what it treats, and what it does not. If your question isn’t here, write to info@dramyseiberlich.com.

Q: How is your practice different from sex therapy?

A: Sex therapy is a mental-health discipline — talk-based, focused on psychological analysis and processing past experience. My practice is naturopathic medicine. I look at sexuality as a full-body, full-life phenomenon and work across every dimension at once — biology, hormones, genetics, nervous system, relational patterns, and the inner work — through one clinical container. The Eros Audit™ is where we start.

Q: Do you offer masturbation coaching?

A: No. I do not offer masturbation coaching, hands-on sexological bodywork, surrogate partner therapy, or any service involving sexual contact, observation, or instruction during sexual activity. Those are not part of this practice.

It is worth being plain about why. Masturbation coaching is not a licensed or regulated profession — not in Washington State, and not anywhere in the United States. There is no board, no licensure requirement, no defined scope of practice, and no disciplinary body overseeing it. Anyone may advertise the title regardless of training or background. As a licensed naturopathic doctor I practice within a defined medical scope and a professional code of ethics, and sexual contact with a patient is prohibited under that scope.

What I do offer is clinical care for the concerns people are usually trying to solve when they search for that term: low libido, difficulty reaching orgasm, pain with sex, erectile dysfunction, numbness or disconnection from arousal, and mismatched desire in a relationship. That work is assessment, diagnosis, and treatment — hormones, nervous system, medications, genetics, and relational patterns — delivered in a clothed, professional clinical setting.

If hands-on somatic work is genuinely what you are looking for, I would rather say so plainly and point you elsewhere than take you on for work I do not do.

Q: Do you work with couples or individuals?

A: Both. I work with individuals navigating their own physiology and the patterns that shape their intimate life, and with couples ready to set down the performance and reconnect honestly. Whether you arrive single, partnered, or somewhere unconventional, the work is the same: one physician holding every dimension of your sexuality through one trusted relationship.

Q: Can you help with low libido or erectile dysfunction?

A: Yes. Because I am a licensed naturopathic doctor, I assess the whole picture — hormones, genetics, nervous system, medications, sleep, stress, and relational dynamics — before recommending anything. Symptoms like low libido or erectile dysfunction are signals, not diseases. We trace them to root causes and address the root, not the symptom.

Q: Is your practice in person in Olympia or via telehealth?

A: Washington patients see me through a mix of in-person and telehealth appointments at my Olympia clinic. To establish a formal doctor-patient relationship for the medical Revelation tier, Washington State law requires a single initial in-person visit. All subsequent medical follow-ups can occur virtually via telehealth. Non-medical coaching containers and the diagnostic Audit do not require an in-person visit.

Q: What are the three ways we can work together?

A: The Eros Audit™ ($777) is the diagnostic entry point — a psycho-relational, erotic, and somatic assessment with a written path forward. The Eros Revelation™ ($7,777) is the biochemical and medical deep-dive, including functional lab testing, naturopathic diagnosis, and four virtual sessions. The Eros Reclamation™ ($5,555–$7,777) is a somatic and relational container with weekly sessions over three months. All three begin with the same short application.

Q: How does the application and Discovery Call process work — and is what I share confidential?

A: The application is the first piece of work we do together — it tells me what is actually being called for before we ever speak. I read every word before our Discovery Call. From there we meet for sixty minutes by secure video. I will tell you honestly whether The Eros Audit™ is the right starting place, whether The Eros Reclamation™ is what is actually being called for, or whether what you need is something else entirely. Everything you share — the application, the call, and the clinical work that follows — is held in strict clinical confidence and protected under HIPAA inside my electronic health record system. The form on this site never stores your information directly; it routes it to that protected record.
